Introduction
Mercy College of Nursing, Established in 1998 as Mercy School of Nursing is a minority owned institution, owned and run by the Church of Christ. It is attached to Mercy Hospital which was established in 1995. The Mercy Hospital is a Mission Hospital built up on a solid spiritual foundation and it is a living testimony to the divine call of God’s people to spread the love of Christ.
Our Programs are accredited by Indian Nursing Council, Kerala State Nursing and Midwifery Council, Kerala University of Health Sciences.
Mission and Vision
The college urges the student to search for new horizon of knowledge and newer ways to discover the real needs of the humanity through research , study and extension. It aims to enable the educated to acquire knowledge and share this knowledge through nursing education and develop attitudes and skills in providing quality care to the sick with a holistic approach without any discrimination of caste, creed , colour or social status.
The college envisages to create more suitable and desirable environment for the student to develop confidence, competence and compassion in nursing and to prepare the students for career placements all around the globe. The institution prepare students for the pressing demands of today and tomorrow keeping in mind the need to shape and mould a professionally competent generation, loyal to the highest ideals of healthcare profession.
